Welcome, I am very happy to share my life with you today.  True stories about people are the best.  To keep it simple, I’m an artist and I have been the Director of Artourway Designs Limited since 2011;  Graphic Design Artist producing original Anyway Art…   By the way, this is an actual yearly event of BC’s capital; Tourist in your own town week.   As owner of Quill Publishing in Cranbrook, BC  2004 to 2007;  Author of the cook book “Vegetable Cake” 2005  marketing books across Canada.  In Calgary, I was a guest on the CTV News program advertizing my book sales, in the Chapters / Indigo stores.   Trees were my favorite vantage point. When I would resist falling out . . things could really be seen from up there. Endless days of roaming Beacon Hill Park catching a butterfly or cricket game were also weekly events. Ahhhhh the beach! Sand between my toes, seaweed fights with the siblings, digging for treasure, all the memories that keep me going back to visit. Yesterday, coming back from a family swim at the river, my Dad’s neighbor pulled up to us at the intersection. With a huge smile on her face she said “Hey, I hear you’re an Artist?” As the cars began to move I said “Ya I try”. Laughing, we drove in separate directions. That sums it up for me. Owner of Berkes Design 1997 to 2000 working as a Graphic Artist.  Clients included:  The Prestige Inn, Cranbrook District Arts Council, Festival of Trees committee for the Cranbrook Regional Hospital.  Solo Art Exhibit and sale from 1998 to 1999 displaying various Original Paintings in the Cranbrook Joseph Creek Village complex.1992 to 1997 BC Hydro Drafting Technician in Abbotsford, BC. Producing construction drawings, used by the line crews when installing underground and overhead power lines. Worked with engineers using their sketches, field survey notes and verbal instructions to draw maps by hand and AutoCAD. Vancouver/Abbotsford BC Hydro Drafter Reference: Mike Freda   Cranbrook BC Hydro Customer Service Rep.  Received a Drafting Technician Certificate completing studies in Mechanical, Civil and Architectural Drafting skills at the University College of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford.  AutoCAD instructor from 1991~1992
